The Twiga Foundation & The ‘You & I’ Program
Twiga Tours has been involved in numerous
projects that encourage sustainable development, better the life of
communities and conserve our precious heritage. Our current project, The
Better Life Day Care Centre, is situated in the heart of one of
Nairobi’s under privileged areas.

The centre aims to educate under
privileged children aged 3 – 12 years at no cost to their families
whatsoever. The centre is run by volunteers who rely entirely on good
Samaritans for their daily needs. Twiga Tours has, for the past 5 years,
provided learning materials and food for the centre. Many of our clients
have also offered their support through donations of learning materials,
clothes, and toys amongst many other items. Previous projects include
providing transport to the Nairobi Hospice, funding the creation of a
clean water supply to a local village, and an orphaned children’s home.
